Our Fall 2017 season is coming up! Check our website for past results!

The purpose of the club shall be to promote the sport of rowing through competition and good sportsmanship. The club shall seek to impress upon the membership the importance of teamwork, dedication, and discipline, as well as the positive social characteristics of rowing.

The Rensselaer Crew Club is made up of 4 teams: varsity men, varsity women, novice men and novice women. Though we are a club team, we are still very competitive and driven to win. Every semester (or season, as we call it), we usually attend 3-5 regattas, competing against other college club teams. In addition to practice and racing, we do a large amount of fundraising including "Rent-A-Rower" where community members can sign up to have a group of rowers assist them in yard work, moving or any other variety of tasks. Each year, we host the Adirondack Erg Sprints (a 2000m rowing machine competition) in late February/early March and the Erg-A-Thon (a 24-hour rowing machine marathon) during GM Week. All of these events combined with normal practice keep us very busy but we have a lot of fun while doing it!
