In anticipation of the upcoming visit by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. to the Rensselaer campus, the Rensselaer Community is invited to the Howard P. Isermann  Auditorium in CBIS on Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 5 pm. to 6 pm. for The Supreme Court and Other Federal Courts:  How They Work and Why They  Matter -  a discussion and dialog about the U.S. Supreme Court and other federal courts led by Albany Law School Distinguished Professor of Law, Vincent Bonventre, and Rensselaer General Counsel, Craig Cook. This event, sponsored by the Rensselaer Pre-Law Association, will provide insight into how the federal courts work, and the unique role played by the Supreme Court and the Chief Justice. The bulk of the session will be a Q&A format to discuss topics of interest to attendees.  Don’t miss this opportunity to gain some expert insight into the federal courts that will make the visit by the Chief Justice even more valuable and exciting!
