Successful Thanksgiving Dinner at the Mueller Center!
The Mueller Center treated students, faculty, staff and family members to a delicious meal at its first Thanksgiving Dinner celebration on Thursday, November 23. In what started as a small event for the students who stay on campus for the holiday turned into a crowd of nearly 200 gathering together for the popular meal. The event was planned and executed by Mueller Center staff, Donna Sutton and John Nehrich who saw the need to offer the RPI community a place to enjoy the festival of Thanksgiving away from home. Both Donna and John wanted to provide the students a sense of home and the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with their RPI family. The event attracted a broad participation from out-of-state and international students. Special thanks to Advising & Learning Assistance Center staff, Brea Barthel for assisting with day of coordination and the students who volunteered their efforts in helping make this Thanksgiving Dinner an overwhelming success!
