You decide what to work on: these states of mind are not easier or harder, they use different skill sets.

• State of Mind 1 focuses on improving core, stability, and balance in a no- or low-impact workout

• State of Mind 2 builds on state of mind 1 and adds more cardio to the workout

• State of Mind 3 adds more intense, sometimes ballistic moves that challenge the mind and body in new ways

The routines won’t change during this session. What will change is your understanding of how to do each move to improve the way you do it and to push yourself to try each state of mind.

Lower body exercises and upper body exercises will be practiced. Strength training will also increase your muscle elasticity and strengthen your connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments, which, from a biomechanical perspective, help hold your body in the upright position.
