RPI Global Brigades is a chapter of the largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our brigades provide comprehensive health services and clean water access to rural communities around the world. We approach volunteerism with a unique holistic model to build stable economies, maintain health and wellness, and encourage community ownership with the end goal of sustainability. To achieve this goal, our chapter is fueled by compassionate student volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Each year, we send RPI students on a Medical Brigade. With the help of licensed medical professionals and community health workers, we travel to rural communities with limited health services, set up a mobile medical clinic for one week, and provide quality health services (triage, consultation, education, and pharmaceuticals) completely free of charge.
